What was disclosed today is 2025 revenue
On October 13, IT Home, citing Guandian, reported that Laoganma executive vice president and chief quality officer Li Xin told a Guizhou quality conference that 2025 revenue was 5.4 billion yuan, a high for the brand. Revenue had fallen to 4.2 billion yuan. The report ties that drop to the period after Tao Huabi retired in 2014 and transferred equity to her two sons, when a switch to Henan peppers changed the taste.
After she returned to day-to-day management in 2019, the company restored the old ingredient standard and installed a full-chain AI management system. The report presents the quality recovery as the result of both, and it does not isolate how much of the revenue the cameras produced.

The inspection figures are a speed and a defect rate
The report says the plant now uses AI visual inspection across the workshop and traces 100 percent of core ingredients. High-speed industrial cameras scan peppers on the belt, identify mold and spots in 0.3 seconds, and reject them with an air stream. The defect rate on key steps fell to 0.02 percent.
Those figures come from the conference, through Guandian and then IT Home. The report does not say which year's defect rate is the baseline, and it does not name the camera or give a false-detection rate.
[1]Share and exports are a separate public note
The report adds that public information puts Laoganma first in Chinese-style sauces in the third quarter of 2025, with a share around 55 percent, capacity above one million tons, and sales in 160 countries and regions. Those items are not presented as Li Xin's words at this conference.
