The specs are written. Verification is not finished

IT Home reports today that MemSilicon said its Mount Tai One resistive-memory chip, on a 1TnR path, has taped out and is still in chip verification. Jiemian is cited for a 28-nanometer CMOS process, a 1T4R structure, 1Gb capacity, 30Mb per square millimeter, access under 20 nanoseconds, and on-chip hardware error correction.

In this article's note, 1T4R means one select transistor tied to four resistive cells. The note explains the structure. It is not a measured comparison.

AI is the company's direction, not this chip's score

The public description says the company uses combined memory and compute to address the memory wall, for consumer, industrial, and data-center uses, and offers sensing, storage, and compute together with memory chips. That is a direction, not Mount Tai One's latency or accuracy on a model. The page has no power figure, no yield, and no customer that has already installed it.

The company calls the tape-out a step from lab research to a gigabit product. The chip is still in verification. That sentence is not a production start.

The funding rounds are not today's news

The piece also mentions an angel round of nearly 100 million yuan in 2025 and a Pre-A above 100 million yuan in January 2026, led by CDB Sci-Tech and Legend Capital. Those are older financing records. The chairman is Liu Qi. They do not change the status that verification is still underway.
