Apple's press release, dated October 27, 2026, announces updates to Apple Creator Studio. Existing subscribers can get them free on the App Store this November. In the United States, new subscribers pay $12.99 a month or $129 a year, with a one-month trial. Buying a new Mac or a qualifying iPad adds three months free. College students and educators pay $2.99 a month or $29.99 a year. Family Sharing covers up to six people. One-time prices remain on the Mac App Store: Final Cut Pro at $299.99, Logic Pro at $199.99, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, and Compressor at $49.99 each, and MainStage at $29.99. Free versions of Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and Freeform continue to ship with a new device. Those are the prices in the release, not transaction prices counted by a third party.

The video section is about Final Cut Pro. The Mac app now includes MotionVFX inside the application. The release says editors get access to thousands of elements, including themed templates, graphics, titles, and transitions, plus tools for rotoscoping, tracking, and color grading. Apple-curated video, photos, and backgrounds can be opened from the Content Hub inside Final Cut Pro. Any image on the timeline can be opened in Pixelmator Pro and saved back into the project. The release also says 23 transcription languages were added. Compressor adds encoding for Cinematic mode video recorded on iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo. That line is about an encode format. The release does not turn this update into a phone announcement.
[1]Pixelmator Pro adds Generate Fill, which changes a selected area of an image from a description. The release says the fill matches the lighting, perspective, and texture of the surroundings, and that Super Resolution scales the generated material so it stays sharp at different sizes. Generated pieces can be merged into an existing layer or inserted as a new layer. The page does not include an independent test. Those effects are product description.
[1]The intelligent assistant in Logic Pro for Mac is in beta, and it runs on a combination of models built by Apple and models from other companies. The release says it can help with a production workflow, start a song from one prompt, set up a vocal track, or revise an active project. The footnote sets the requirement: macOS 27 Golden Gate or later, a Mac that can run Apple Intelligence, and U.S. English only for now. Stem Splitter can now isolate, replace, or rebalance drum parts without the original multitracks. The redesigned Browser gathers loops, instruments, and effect patches, and an on-device audio analysis classifies and tags sounds that are added. The release also says the Browser includes a Splice library. Sergio George's Producer Pack supplies his piano sound and Latin jazz and salsa loops, including a salsa percussion section, brass, and basses. The release does not say in which regions, or from which day, that pack can be downloaded.
[1]The assistants in Keynote, Pages, and Numbers are also in beta. They are built on Apple models and on OpenAI, and they read the document's context. The release says the Keynote assistant helps with designing, animating, and revising slides, the Pages assistant drafts and revises text, and the Numbers assistant calculates, charts, and organizes data, and recommends a chart with a one-tap preview. The footnote says the device must be able to run Apple Intelligence, the system must be iOS 27, iPadOS 27, or macOS 27 or later, and the language is again U.S. English only. MCP lets an outside agent read content, make edits, and run automated actions. The release says that support requires macOS 27 or later. Keynote adds the .keyx format, which the release describes as an open JSON bundle that outside tools, developer workflows, and agents can read. In December, Freeform is due to add two things: editing an image directly in Pixelmator Pro, and generating editable shapes from a text description.
[1]Brent Chiu-Watson is Apple's senior director of Worldwide Product Marketing for Apps and iCloud. In the release he says this is the most exciting update since Creator Studio launched, and that MotionVFX in Final Cut Pro gives subscribers quick access to a large set of professional video effects. That is the company's product-marketing language, not a usage count. The release does not say which day in November the update arrives, does not say how many subscribers there are, and does not give an accuracy figure for Generate Fill or for the assistants that are still in beta.
