The IT Home page is stamped 2026/10/18 9:52:16 and gives no time zone. It says Agility Robotics chose a Nyobolt battery for the Digit 5 humanoid, with the design aim of spending more time moving goods and less time plugged in. The same piece says the pack supports 9 minutes of charging and 90 minutes of running. The work-to-charge ratio is given as a design value of 10:1, one minute of charging for ten minutes of work. Digit 4’s ratio is given as 2:1. The 9 minutes, the 90 minutes, and the 10:1 are design figures. The report gives no site, no load, and no sample size.

The report states a separate target: more than 20 effective working hours inside 24. Chief commercial officer Daniel Diez says that, for customers, Digit’s ability to keep working is the commercial value. He adds that Digit 5 can do more than 20 effective hours in 24, which he calls more than two full shifts. He also says Nyobolt’s fast charge is one part of Digit 5 reaching larger deployments. Those are a target and an executive account, not a published time log. Nyobolt chief executive Sai Shivareddy says the technology was chosen because Digit 5 needs more power in a smaller, lighter pack, and because warehouses and factories set a high durability bar. The report does not turn “smaller, lighter, more power” into kilograms or watts.

Robots with this battery are expected to start early trials in the first half of 2027, for manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics. After trials begin, supply is expected to widen over the following 6 to 9 months. Both dates are expectations. Trials have not started in this announcement, and volume has not shipped. The report also says Agility plans to merge with Churchill Capital Corp XI. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026. The combined company would keep the name Agility Robotics and list on Nasdaq under the ticker AGLT. The close is expected. The ticker is a planned symbol, not proof in this piece that the listing has happened.

The announcement publishes no battery capacity and no cycle-life number. Without capacity, a 9-minute charge cannot be read as the speed for a stated amount of energy. Without cycle life, fast charging cannot be read as proven durability. The 10:1 sits only next to Digit 4’s 2:1. There is no independent retest and no comparison with other humanoid batteries.
