I play the same 4 starter words every day, except (in rare instances) when a clear winning path toward correct word guesses becomes apparent (which happened once this month, when 3 starter words were sufficient). My 4 starter words cover all vowels (with minor and necessary duplication) and cover the majority of the most common consonants (with no duplicates) — thereby exposing the locations of 18 (of 26) alphabet letters across all 16 words in that day’s game. That leaves me 17 remaining word guesses to get all 16 of that day’s game words, thus allowing for only one possible mistaken guess— that is my “risk management” approach. The words are: ADIEU, CHAMP, FLUNG, STORY The results speak for themselves — see the attached screenshot from my Sedecordle app at the end of today’s game. Note: I missed playing the app game one day last week when a family emergency kept me fully focused and occupied on that situation.
