I've recently worked on agentic enterprise integrations. getting the first customer live turns out to be the easy part.
Keeping it live while admins rename fields and credentials expire is the long job.
@WithAmpersand's runtime takes on that long job, handling auth, token refreshes, retries, backfills, and monitoring, while each customer's objects and mappings sit in one config.
The model can decide an invoice is overdue. It has no way of knowing this customer keeps payment terms on a custom object, or sends some reminders through an approval step first. That knowledge has to live somewhere outside the model.
Here it lives in the config, with each customer's objects, fields, and mappings, while the runtime handles auth, token refreshes, retries, backfills, and monitoring.
