This is where it all started. Here, 23-year-old Stanford dropout Sam Altman demoing Loopt at Apple’s WWDC 2008. He left Stanford at 19 in 2005 to co-found Loopt in Y Combinator’s first batch. Loopt sold to Green Dot in 2012 for $43.4 million. He then co-founded Hydrazine Capital, later became president of Y Combinator, and co-founded OpenAI in 2015.
