This is one perspective. The other one is that we are now entering THE golden age of mathematics, and some mathematicians that I personally know are giddy with excitement. I’ve spent most of the past month and a half collaborating with an old friend of mine who is a math professor/researcher. We’ve been having a blast. We will be sharing some of our findings soon.
