It was great participating in a fireside chat with @camillefrancois at the Attention Conference in Montreal last week. We discussed the ongoing technical work at @LawZero_ to address misalignment and emerging risks for our society and democracy. I also had the pleasure to join Camille and @mariaressa for a panel on global AI governance. Drawing on the critical work of the @UN Independent International Scientific Panel on AI, we emphasized the need for international coordination and digital sovereignty so that AI's trajectory is guided democratically, not just by commercial pressures. @MediaTechDem
